I have a question that i would like to address to the people from Kibaghot, Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.
I am really curious why your place was named Kibaghot. As i remembered, my mom told me a story about why your place was named “Kibaghot” when I was still young and innocent. She was from Opol, Misamis Oriental. But she grew up with her grandma at Alubijid, and sometimes visits Laguindingan as well, when she was young. It is true that the name of your place, was came from a dog named “Kibag” and the “hot” is how the way people called that dog? 😅 Correct me if I am wrong. I am willing to accept corrections.
